Below is a list of courses offered via distance learning to fulfill the requirements for the AS Degree in General Studies from Virginia Western.

Virginia Western's General Studies program has been approved by the Virginia Community College System and the State Council of Higher Education as a transfer degree.  In addition, Virginia Western's distance learning activities are accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

  ENG 241-242 Survey of American Literature I-II 6 cr.

               available via distance learning from some other colleges in the VCCS.
